YogiCalc is a free calculator site with no logins, no paywalls and no sign-up forms. Type your numbers in, read the answer, close the tab. It is built and maintained by a small team in India.
Most calculators on the web share the same two problems. They either hide a simple answer behind a registration wall, or they give you a bare number with no explanation of how it was reached — which is useless the moment your situation differs even slightly from the assumed case. We wanted the opposite: a tool that answers the question immediately, then shows the working, so you can tell whether the answer applies to you.
The site started with a handful of Indian tax and loan calculators built to answer questions we kept being asked by friends and family. It grew from there, mostly because people wrote in asking for things we had not built yet.
YogiCalc now runs to well over a hundred calculators across thirteen categories:
There is also a section of free maths and brain games — over a hundred of them, grouped by topic, age and skill — used by teachers, parents and anyone who wants to keep their mental arithmetic sharp. Like everything else here, they are free and need no account.
Every calculator implements a published formula, a statutory rate or an officially documented rule — not a guess and not a black box. Where a figure comes from legislation, such as an income tax slab or a standard deduction, we work from the current official source and update the page when the law changes. The Indian tax calculators, for example, reflect the Income Tax Act, 2025 that replaced the 1961 Act from April 2026.
Where a calculation depends on assumptions — an expected rate of return, a depreciation method, an activity multiplier — we say so on the page rather than burying it. Most calculators carry a short explanation and a set of frequently asked questions underneath, because the number on its own is rarely the whole answer.
We correct mistakes as soon as we learn about them. If you find one, telling us is genuinely useful and we would rather know.
Calculations run entirely in your browser. The salary, loan amount or medical figure you type in is never sent to our servers and is never stored. We do not ask you to register, and we do not build profiles of visitors. Our privacy policy sets out what we do collect — standard analytics and advertising cookies — and how to control it.
YogiCalc is free to use and is supported by advertising. We do not charge for any calculator, we do not sell user data, and we do not take payment to recommend financial products. Adverts are served by third parties and their presence is not an endorsement.
We build tools, not advice. We are not accountants, financial advisers or doctors, and our calculators cannot account for your particular circumstances. They are for estimation and education.
